Sunday morning is often hectic at our home. Doug is off to church meetings at the crack of dawn, which leaves me to get the kids all ready for early church. Somedays I am more prepared than others, but usually the "Entertainment Bag" is left for last minute. So, I throw in some magazines, quiet toys, and Quiet Books.
I've often been asked where I purchased my Quiet Books. Well, I get them from Cambodia. Yep, kind of far away for most. But my Dad travels quite a bit to remote towns and villages around the world. My Mom traveled with him a few times and found a place that makes these Quiet Books. They are all handmade/hand stitched by Women who are looking for a job and skill to learn. They are all not perfect, but I think they are priceless. They used to be a bit cheaper, but I think they are becoming more popular. Well, I had my mom bring some extras over for me to sell to you. This Quiet book has openings to each home where the animal lives. Not all pages are pictured.
